Victoria Lynn Schackel

     Victoria Lynn Schackel, 61, of Springfield passed away at 4:12 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
     She was born on November 16, 1955 in Portland, OR, a daughter of Leslie and Marlene (Steele) Wallingford. They preceded her death, along with one brother, Daniel Wallingford. She married Michael L. Schackel on December 4, 2001 in Aurora, CO.
     Victoria is survived by her husband of Springfield; children, Kim (Osiris) EI-Sadek of Newark, NJ, Leslie (Teresa) Chamberlain of Sandy, OR, Tennille Escatel of Peoria, Michael George (Emily) Wallingford and Kenneth Weeks, both of Portland, OR, Lawrence Chamberlain of Chicago and Jaylynn Schackel of Springfield; siblings, David Wallingford of Portland, OR, Leslie Anne Budsworth of Gillette, WY, Sheryl Moppin of Klamath Falls, OR and Sherman Moppin, Jr.; and ten grandchildren.
     She was a member of the Confederated Tribe of Klamath.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Victoria's memory to the American Indian College Fund.
     There will be no public visitation or service. Cremation rites have been accorded.
